The Committee considered a joint report by the Head of Resources and Estates Officer (circulated previously) regarding land known as Bicclescombe Nursery, Ilfracombe.

The Head of Resources outlined the report to the Committee.

The Head of Resources and Estates Officer responded to questions asked by the Committee.

Councillor Wilkinson declared a personal interest as the developer was also a Member of Mortehoe Parish Council.

RESOLVED that the Head of Resources be delegated authority to negotiate with the developer to achieve a minimum acceptable capital receipt as set out by Members in light of the presented reportand that if the minimum acceptable capital receipt could not be achieved then it be reported back to the Committee for consideration.
